Africa Rising Seminar

Stockholm, Sweden 2015

Our Network Team attended a seminar on Africa Rising, the growing potential of trade in services in Africa, organized by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the World Trade Centre in Stockholm.

Speaking at the seminar was the Deputy Sec. Gen of UNCTAD Joakim Reiter, the CEO Stein Brothers AB, Peter Stein, and the vice president of Ericsson Ulf Pehrsson.

A panel debate also took place with the Kenyan Ambassador to Sweden, Dr Joseph Sang, the Director-Gen. of the National Board of Trade Anna Stellinger, the CEO of Helseplan Marie Öberg Lindevall.  A summary of the Economic Development in Africa, Report 2015 was presented by the co-author of the report, Junior Davis.
